The Wayhaven Chronicles - Update 02.04.2026

Oh, what a week again!

The writing on the chapter is finished! I got the edits back from the editor for the other chapter, so I can get on that while editing this current chapter. The testers are also prepped and on board ready to get started on testing after Easter break.

It really was all a go this week, hehe! Which I wasn’t sure it was going to be as I started out the week by dislocating my knee, lol. I wasn’t even sure how I was going to keep it raised and work at my desk, but we managed to make a set-up that worked for it, and I hammered through!

It does feel good to really be rocketing ahead!

I will be taking a few days off over Easter as we have a couple of bank holidays (which is why the update is early this week!), and I’ll be using them to recuperate before coming back and starting on the editing. It’s actually good timing as I’ll be able to come back to it with fresh eyes, which is always the best for editing to spot issues! :D

I took a quick glance over the plan for the next chapter too, and I think it’s actually the easiest one to write out of the few I have left, so hoping that’ll go quick and smoothly once I get started!
