The Wayhaven Chronicles - Update 07.11.2025

I’m not sure why I always convince myself I hate editing so much, because every time I edit I’m always going through the chapter like, ‘Oh my word, I totally forgot this bit!’ Or ‘Aaahh! I forgot this is how it goes with love interest after that moment’, lol! :D

It’s mostly because editing stops me from writing, and I’m a person who just likes to keep pushing forward on projects! But editing is one of the most important tasks, and apparently actually becoming a favourite one too, hehe!

But I also took a glance over the next chapter’s plan and now I seriously just want to get writing!

This is one of those chapters where everyone will get a completely different version of it depending on your love interest. So you’ll get Adam/Ava’s version of this chapter if you’re romancing them, or you’ll get Farah/Felix’s version if you’re romancing them, etc.

Oooohhhh, there’s a lot going on in this chapter for these romances. A lot coming to a head in some, a lot finally being said in others, and a couple of defining choices in a couple!

I mean, it is a dance at a ball in a romance story. There’s no way it’s not gonna be a big deal and a big scene moment, hehe! :D

I’ll be getting started on that chapter next week. I still have to finish up the editing on this doozy of a chapter, but I’ll definitely have that done by tomorrow!

Also, I’ll be doing asks next week, so those will finally be back! As well as working on some very fun stuff to come on Patreon over the festive month, hehe! ;D
