The Wayhaven Chronicles - Update 12.09.2025

It was a really long week this week with an unexpected cat vet emergency visit followed by a lot of monitoring at home (rescue animals are unbelievably fantastic and offer so much love, but they are sometimes a lot more fragile too).

Looks like he’s on the mend now though finally!

Luckily it was a week where I was catching up on things: edits from the editor, planning out the rewrite scene in the next chapter, etc. So, I was able to stay top of that and then actually start the next chapter too!

I also got an amazing comment from my editor about my writing in Book Four, which was a huge boost in confidence and motivation for me! It really helped me power on ahead far better than I expected I would this week!

Next week, it’ll be more of the same. This chapter is pretty big with lots of varying scenes dependant on choices. But that also means it’ll be one of those chapters that’ll feel very different on replays depending on what you’ve chosen with other characters so far!
