The Wayhaven Chronicles - Update 13.03.2026

You know, for all the times I say writing Bobby makes me shudder…I always enjoy writing scenes with them, lol! :D

There’s something about the way they interact in a scene, with motivations the reader really can’t read, that makes them so fun!

Though now with two different versions of Bobby to contend with, that also adds to the mix, hehe!

I also got to hint at something in a different story branch when I did that version of this scene earlier this week. And soon it’ll be Douglas’ turn! And with the two ways his story can go—I’m eager for people to start seeing where that might be headed…

But Bobby’s versions are my focus at the moment, after finishing up the other version if you’re not on either Bobby or Douglas’ branches.

It is a lot of variations, especially when you guys will only see one version of the five different ways this scene could play out, plus choices within them, but it really does make it feel more like the story is specific for the character you’re playing! Choices in Wayhaven can be small but have bigger consequences than you realise, or maybe it may seem like a massive moment but the impact is smaller than expected.

I like to keep it mixed up so it’s not just always obvious that big dramatic moments mean big things, and small moments are just throw away choices, hehe! :D

I should have Bobby’s section done by first half of next week though, so then it’s onto Douglas’s!
