The Wayhaven Chronicles - Update 17.10.2026

Writing on the epilogues is done, and editing is part way through!

Which means the writing for Book Four is complete!

It’s really weird but amazing to write that! :D

It was like 9:30pm on Tuesday, and I’d decided to add in an extra scene for the love triangle epilogue, then it was just…suddenly done! I text Nai a picture of the ending to let her know, and it all felt really surreal, hehe!

I know there’s still editing, testing, etc. But even that isn’t as much as it’s been with the other books, what with so much of it being done during the writing process! Which is also a weird feeling as there’s usually an overload of stuff now, but really it’s just my editing (there’s some stuff I want to add in from the testers’ feedback), the editor’s edits, the last of the testers’ chapters, and then my own testing (which I will be doing over and over as I wait for editor’s and testers’, so that won’t even extend the time).

No organizing a crazy couple of weeks of testing, no rushing through editing, no none of that!

Just a nice smooth run into submission to Hosted Games.

Oh my word, guys! We really are almost there now!

Next week, I’ll be finishing up the editing and also catching up on some social media things. Once I’m done with editing, I’ll send that over to the editor and then get started on my own testing! It’ll be the first time Book Four will be played through as WHOLE story!! Aaaahhh!!

…I’m a teensy but excited, hehe! :D
