The Wayhaven Chronicles - Update 21.11.2025

Oh, it was one of the best weeks this week! All these moments I’ve had building in my head for years are now coming out onto the page and really coming to life, hehe! :D

I got two of the scenes finished already and was about to move onto the next when…I thought of something else I could add…

Part of me is like, ‘Don’t do it. It’ll be soooo much work for such a tiny one bit of dialogue. Yet the other—admittedly louder lol—part of me is like…

So, I’m really torn. It would be a lot of work, especially as what I’ve thought of would need to be different for each LI and their scenes, but it would add such a moment of real personalised moment for the player and the LI….

Basically, I’m thinking of adding a moment where the LI comments on the specific outfit the MC chose to wear, especially if it’s quite different than their ‘usual’ attire!

I know it’s something I would LOVE to have my LI actually take note of my specific outfit and get their reaction.

Buuuuttttt, with all those outfit choices…that’s a lot to do for each LI…lol!

Urgh! Decisions!

I think I may have to do it. It’s going to be too lovely a moment not to, and a really great personal touch moment for the character and player. But if it really becomes too much, I’ll stop and move on.

That’s the new plan! :D

So I guess that’s what I’ll be working on next week—adding that scene in and then getting on with the other LI scenes, while adding the extra to those too!

Even after sharing a small spoiler, I really want the ball scene stuff to be as unspoiled as possible, which for me is seriously difficult ‘cause I just wanna talk about it now!! But the ball scene stuff is just too important and awesome a moment to ruin just ‘cause of my excitement, lol!

I definitely want lots of heart-pounding and emotions during these scenes for you guys ;)
