The Wayhaven Chronicles - Update 24.10.2025

This week, it was a proper dive into the ball, and I am LOVING IT! :D

All these scenes and dialogue moments I’ve had in my head for absolute years are finally getting to come to life on the page!!

And it’s only the beginning, hehe!

A lot happens at the ball—emotionally so, especially—and it’s a real turning point, or just realisation moment, for quite a few of the romances.

Then I had a quick check through to what is happening after this section of love interest scenes, and I totally forgot what is coming next and like…guys, I’m hyperventilating I’m so excited!

Especially because of the love interest’s reactions to it, and the foreshadowing it brings…

But I’m getting ahead of myself already, lol! There’s just a lot coming in these ball chapters I’ve been waiting a long time to write :D

I did have to go back and check the flow into this chapter too. There’s a lot of POV shifts in the last couple of chapters, as well as the start of this one, and I was worried it would feel a bit choppy.

It’s not like I thought it was though, after reading it, so that has settled my worries. I’ll also be sure to check with the readers to see what they think.

It’s just there are some moments when you just need to see the LI’s POV for things! :D
