The Wayhaven Chronicles - Update 03.10.2025

Although editing isn’t my favourite task, it is great fun going all the way back to the beginning of the chapter and seeing what you wrote.

Especially when you forget just how much you wrote and didn’t realise what happens at the start was in this chapter, hehe! :D

Around editing this chapter, I’ve been really trying to slam through social media for this month (including starting the Halloween Scenario Specials, which I’ve been having far too much fun with, hehehe!).

With the ball chapters coming up next, I really just want to be able to focus fully on those. Not just because they’re massive and complicated with variations and branching, but because I am ridiculously excited to write them!

I wrote small snippets of ideas for the ball in Wayhaven at least twenty years ago (possibly more…lol). That’s how long I’ve been waiting to write this moment, hehe! :D

It was a looong task list for this week though, so it’s not quite finished. But I’m hoping after working on it Saturday and Monday, I can get that done by then, so I can just go straight into the start of the ball chapters (I think the ball takes up three chapters in total, eesh!).

And the ball begins the roll—pun totally intended—into the ending sections of Book Four too, so it’s definitely going to be a hectic time ahead, but also seriously exciting! :D
