The Wayhaven Chronicles Update - 04.07.2025

So, you remember the chapter I'm working on that was going to take me FOREVER? Well, it looks like I’m gonna be getting it finished next week!!

I’m still a bit stunned on that, lol! :D

But it’s actually gone so, so much smoother than I thought it was going to considering all the variations, plus the fact it had two branches of it.

One of the branches I did manage to condense, which helped a ton. I realised having a ‘fail’ version of the scenes was actually a bad idea, as this moment is about building up the new Agency stats in this book, so the character hasn’t gained enough of those stats to even have a pass or fail version yet.

The reactions of the LIs to some of the choices you have in this scene though are still cracking me up, hehe! :D

I had a really lovely comment from my editor lately that I realised was proving so true. She said something like she could really tell I was enjoying writing this book and it showed. So I hope it really is coming through in the writing how much I’m absolutely loving this book.

I know I’ve said it five-million times already, but Book Four does feel something special!

Next week, it was supposed to be social media days at the start, but with getting so close to finishing this chapter I’m going to keep pushing through with that. Then I’ll start social media days towards the end of the week as well as catching up with comments, messages, etc!
