The Wayhaven Chronicles - Update 18.09.2026

My word, I do love a week when I tick everything off my to-do list so smoothly! :D

The endings chapter is edited with my edits, the previous chapter has had the editor’s edits added, then the whole thing has been sent off to the editor.

The tester’s comments and adjustments have been done (except one, which needs a bit more to it coding-wise) and the next chunk of chapters sent off to them!

Then I started on the epilogues!

It feels unbelievably motivating on weeks like this, hehe! I think the fact I was SUPER excited to start the epilogues helped really push me along! :D

I can also now confidently say how many chapters Book Four will have. The epilogues are Chapter Twenty-Two. I think that means Book Four has the most chapters I’ve had for a game so far in this series (along with the most romance routes, considering the addition of Li-Sar’s, lol!)

Nice to be able to put a number on that now though for definite! :D

Tomorrow and next week, I’ll be catching up on the character Q&As for Patreon happening all this month (glad you guys enjoyed N’s thoughts on, uh, handling the MC ;D), and then pushing on with the epilogues!

I know you shouldn’t have ‘candy bar’ scenes as a writer, but man…these epilogues are gonna be absolutely delicious to write, hehe! ;D
