The Wayhaven Chronicles—Update 15.08.2025

Considering I’ve had to have a whole different set-up to my working space, I still managed to check a ton off my list this week!

Though I tell you, I didn’t realise just how much I bent or moved my arms until I’ve had to wear arm splints that don’t let me move them at all, lol! :D

There’s also been some interesting typos as I get used to the new keyboard, hehe! Do you ever find it takes agggges to get used to a new keyboard? Like, my old one had quite big keys, but this split one has small keys, so I keep pressing shift only to find I’m pressing the up button. Or I press delete and end up screenshotting everything, lol!

But it has meant I’ve been allowed to power on more again, which feels really good to start getting caught up!

Though, of course, in the first opening variation of this chapter, I already decide to add in a new scene for each vampire love interest that wasn't in the plan, hehe! :D It’s such an emotionally-charged scene though, so definitely worth it!

It feels good to be getting back into it, especially as we’re in the downhill stretch now for Book Four! Still aways off, but it’s starting to feel like it’s all ramping up!

Next week, I still have some messages and social media bits to catch up on, but mostly, I’ll be focusing on getting this chapter really slammed out! Although it’s pretty much all split scenes (the last half you get a completely different scene depending on your love interest, so that’s six different versions of the later half of this chapter), they should be pretty smooth to write!
