The Wayhaven Chronicles - Update 18.07.2025

One version of this chapter is finished!! Aahh!!

I had to check the plan about three times to make sure I’d done everything because I couldn’t quite believe it, hehe! :D

I was totally not joking when I said I was SUPER excited to write this chapter!

This version was intensely dramatic, which is always my favourite, lol! Li-Sar’s romance version was…well, it’s lucky the heatwave was over, or I may have actually combust writing it at the same time!

Then the BFF reactions to it…! I’m really having to be careful not to spoil stuff in my excitement, lol!

And then we have one of my favourite tropes for the vampire romances: when the love interest makes a declaration they don’t realise they’re making because they’re so scared of losing the MC.

I was swooning all over the place writing those scenes, and then their POVs…it was a chapter version with a lot of my favourite things, that’s for sure! :D

Next, I’ll be moving onto the other version…which has a whole bunch more of my favourite things! This version is less obviously melodramatic but instead has a simmering intensity that can only come in the quieter moments. Though I say quiet, it starts by the MC doing something pretty darn dramatic! At a cliff’s edge!

I won’t be writing tomorrow like I would usually would at the weekend as I did my hands and arms in pretty bad with so much typing this week! Even my compression gloves couldn’t help with that, lol! But I seriously just couldn’t stop :D

So, I’ll be taking a break over the weekend but jumping straight into the next version on Monday (and fit my social media days in too!)! Hoping it goes just as smoothly! Really feels like things are super powering along at the moment, so I want to keep the flow going!
