The Wayhaven chronicles - Update 22.08.2025

It was a pretty straightforward week this week of just pushing on with the writing!

Especially when the plan says, ‘small romantic moment’, so I take that and end up making it a major romantic moment with a whole stonkin’ choice set for each love interest, hehe! ;D

Though one thing did have me tearing my hair out this week! I wanted to fix the Nat/Nate pronoun issues in the Chapter One opening (the bed scene), and I thought it’d be a quick thing to tidy up.

Except I’m going through it and going through it, and I can’t find the problem anywhere!

Took me forever to realise it’s because I already fixed it in the main game files but just hadn’t updated the Chapter One file in the demo, lol! :D

So that was actually a very quick tidy-up job once I realised what was the issue! And that should read smoothly now in the demo too!

Next week will be pretty much the same—pushing onwards with the writing and smashing through the plan (and totally not turning small scenes into major moments…hehe! ;D )!
