The Wayhaven Chronicles - Update 14.04.2022

I know...it's Thursday, hehe :D

But it's actually Easter weekend this week, which means Friday and Monday are bank holidays here in the UK, so we'll be off for a long weekend. But I still wanted to get the update out!

The writing for Chapter 11 is done!!!! Yay!!!

Oh it feels like such a huge achievement—for Wayhaven and for me as a creator with what's actually in it!—to get that done.

I did the first round of edits with rewrites and added yet another little scene into it, but I can finally put it to rest for a couple of months before the next edit.

Which is perfect timing as it means I can come back super fresh next Tuesday for Chapter 12! Chapter 12 does have a split scene in it, but it's waaaay more straight forward...but man, it has some serious stuff going on it and one of the biggest (and unexpected) revelations! I'm very excited for it :D

I also booked in for a writer's retreat in May! I used to try and do those every year, but obviously that's been kind of impossible the last couple of years. It'll be nice—and completely nerve-wracking—to go out of my comfort zone to write for other ideas. But I am seriously looking forward to the lessons and expanding skills!
